–An Eastern Iowa man is once again spending time this summer highlighting some of the best places to eat and taking in some of the unique attractions in Western Iowa. Jay Jay Goodvin operates The Iowa Gallivant website, and is traveling through Western Iowa on what he has entitled the “T-Bone Trail”. Goodvin tells KLGA News that he had so much fun and got such a great response from last year’s T-Bone Trail, that he decided to do it again.
Goodvin made his way through Kossuth County on Wednesday, where he stopped at Premier Pizza over the lunch-hour to try some beef in non-steak form, something he is doing more frequently this year.
Goodvin didn’t leave Kossuth County without getting a steak, as he stopped at the Algona Country Club to get a Ribeye from Willie D’s Wednesday evening. Goodvin says there are so many hidden treasures throughout Western Iowa, whether it’s a great place to eat or just a relaxing getaway spot.
Goodvin made his way through Palo Alto County on Thursday, stopping in Cylinder for lunch. You can find his latest videos on Facebook by searching for “The Iowa Gallivant” and check out his previous trips at www.theiowagallivant.com.
