Iowa Lakes Offering A Pair of Unique Courses for Non-Traditional Students

–Iowa Lakes Community College will once again be offering a pair of courses this semester aimed at non-traditional students. Teresa Ball serves as a Continuing Education Programmer for Iowa Lakes, and she tells KLGA News the courses are part of their SALE program.

Ball says the first class begins on Tuesday, January 18th and will cover World War II.

Ball says you don’t have to be in certain professions to take advantage of continuing education courses.

Ball says these courses are so informal, you don’t necessarily need to preregister to participate.

While these courses are held at the Spencer campus of ILCC, Ball says you can participate without having to travel.

The other course that will be offered on Thursday’s this semester will have students view the films of legendary comedian Mel Brooks. You can register for either course online by going to www.iowalakes.edu/ce or by calling 1-800-252-5664.
