Area Man Wanted on Stalking Charge Arrested in Central Iowa

–A man wanted on stalking charges in Kossuth County was taken into custody over the weekend in the Des Moines area.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Law Enforcement officials in Polk County took 22-year-old Brandon James Behle into custody on an outstanding warrant from Kossuth County. Behle was transported back to Kossuth County Sunday afternoon.

Online court records show an arrest warrant was issued on July 9th on a charge of stalking, an aggravated misdemeanor. Records indicate the stalking charge stems from an alleged incident back on June 29th.

Behle was booked into the Kossuth County Jail before posting bond. He is due back in a Kossuth County Court on October 22nd for a preliminary hearing.

A no contact order has been issued to keep Behle from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
