–Bishop Garrigan raced out to an early lead and never looked back. The Golden Bears lead 44-8 at halftime, behind an opportunistic defense that forced turnovers and turned them into made baskets in transition. Sophomore Audi Crooks led the game with 26 points. Sophomore Molly Joyce added 19, many of which came in transition, and senior Kaylyn Meyers had 12 as the Golden Bears improved to 13-0. Belmond Klemme dropped to 3-9. Bishop Garrigan will not return to action until January 19th, when they host Lake Mills.

-Bishop Garrigan got the offensive performance it was looking for to improve to 8-4. Senior Joseph Meis had 21 points, with all of them coming on seven made three pointers, while senior Angelo Winkel led the way with 24 points. The Golden Bears came out of the locker room strong after halftime, turning a 13 point lead into a 26 point lead with a 25-12 run in the third quarter. Belmond Klemme dropped to 4-6 with the loss. Bishop Garrigan is back in action Thursday with a non-conference matchup against Pocahontas Area.
